The practice has been retained by the Environment Agency for many years as their Landfill Technical Advisors and as experienced landfill designers, the practice is able to offer clients a comprehensive design and specification service for waste disposal sites, including basal engineering, waste emplacement and capping systems.
The legacy of abandoned landfills often results in the need to engineer sites closed for many years. Geotechnology has very significant expertise in the engineering and management of such sites. The practice is also able to provide operational management plans for sites and has undertaken numerous Environmental Permit applications for inert, non-hazardous and hazardous landfills as well as asbestos cells, transfer stations and civic amenity areas.
